Specializing in Audi repair in Lansing, MI since 2002.
Since I started driving Audis, about 3-4 yrs ago, I had to find a good mechanic. I searched online and Redline Auto Service came up. My first time going there ended with nearly a $5K bill, which I was HAPPY to pay. I bought the car in Chicago and it's problems we're more than expected. Anyway, my daughter is still driving this car now with NO mechanical problems. I just went today because I hit a raccoon that took out some of the attachments on the belly pan. They put it right on the lift and put it back together, mostly. Didn't charge me a nickel and told me to have a good vacation.
Nick is VERY knowledgeable and polite. He tells me everything that needs to be addressed and tries to help prioritize repairs all with NO pressure.
I would, have and do recommend Redline to anyone with an Audi, or any foreign car.
These guys have serviced my Jag and their costs are high, but my other favorite local shops are both booked for weeks. I figured Redline could be trusted to do some minor Audi work so I called to have them install some front suspension parts. I had gathered up absolutely everything needed for the job down to the last nut and even the special zinc antiseize. Only reason I did not DIY is the lack of a hoist at home. They sounded excited to have the work until I mentioned I would provide parts. They said they would not install any part they did not supply. I was ready to pay for labor but I guess they must charge a hellacious markup on parts too because they sure became jerks in a hurry when the job became labor only. I'll not be going back as I do not care for getting soaked on both the labor and the parts
Redline is great. people there are very nice. I do all my maintenance in redline. They will give you suggestions. Once i want to change my break, they checked and suggest me change them late and can save money. Unfortunately, I moved out from Lansing. need to find a new place now.
